Research Projects
Sophia Hoffmann's research focuses on the international relations of the Middle East, in particular Syria, Iraq, Jordan and Lebanon. Currently, she is researching the activities of humanitarian organisations in the region. In terms of theory, Sophia is a critical international relations scholar and uses ethnigraphic research methods for her qualitative analysis of politics and society.
